About Big Jake’s
Hello! Jake here with my wife Angela. Together we run Big Jake’s Detailing, a local family-owned business providing professional car detailing right here in Quincy, CA. We take pride in helping our neighbors keep their vehicles clean and protected from everyday life — whether that’s dirt roads, pets, kids, or the sand and weather that comes with living in Plumas County.
Like many of you, we have a full house and a busy life. Between the two of us we have six kids — two in college, two married (we love our bonus son and daughter-in-law!), one still at home, and one very handsome young man working in Texas… which is definitely too far away.
We’re also proud grandparents to five grandkids. Our home wouldn’t be complete without animals either — Rosie the dog, some ducks, a goose named Karen, and a flock of chickens… because apparently one chicken just wasn’t enough.Jake
Jake grew up here in Quincy and graduated from Quincy High School, later attending WyoTech in Laramie, Wyoming. He has worked in the automotive industry for over 20 years, including his long-time work with Quincy Tow, where he has been running tow trucks and working in the shop since 2002. Today he also serves as the Auto Shop teacher at Quincy Jr./Sr. High School, helping the next generation learn the trade.
Angela and I met in 2011 at the Quincy racetrack — proof that sometimes you really can meet your person in the most unexpected places. As Angela likes to say, you might just find your “banana bread baddie” at the racetrack.
